Return & Exchange Policy

1. Return Eligibility Period
   Claims for return or refund must be made within 21 days of receipt of goods, along with a copy of the invoice.

2. Product Condition
   Returned products must be unused, unopened, and with original tags intact to be eligible for refund (shipping cost excluded).

3. No Notification = Waiver
   Failure to notify Animel Planet within the specified period will result in the claim being deemed waived.

4. Expiry-Dated Products
   Products that have crossed their expiry date are not eligible for return or refund.

5. Manufacturer Warranty Products
   Returns or refunds for such items will be processed only if approved by the manufacturer.

6. Customer Error / Change of Mind
   If a return is accepted due to customer error or change of mind:

   • A ₹350 restocking fee may be charged

   • Customer must bear all shipping costs

   • Exception applies if the product was shipped incorrectly or arrived faulty
     
     

     Return & Replacement Policy for Perishable Goods :

     • Perishable Goods: No returns or replacements are accepted for fish or plants due to their perishable nature.
     • Non-Living Items: Defective or incorrect non-living items (equipment, accessories) may qualify for a replacement.
     • Proof Required: All requests require photo or video proof of the issue.
     • Shipping Charges: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the error was ours.

     
     

     Non-Returnable Items

     • All fish, plants, and invertebrates.
     • Opened or used aquarium medications and food.
     • Items purchased under "Hot Deals" (all sales are final).

      Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy-

     • DOA claims require photo/video proof submitted within 1 hour of delivery.
     • Shipments sent in Thermocol boxes qualify for our standard compensation terms.
