Cancellation, Refund, Return & Exchange Policy
At Animel Planet, customer satisfaction is our priority. We strive to be fair, transparent, and supportive in all our policies while ensuring product safety and operational efficiency.
Animel Planet follows a customer-friendly cancellation policy under the following conditions:
Order Cancellation Window
Cancellation requests will be accepted within 48 hours of placing the order, provided the order has not been processed or dispatched.
Orders Already Processed or Shipped
Once the order has been communicated to our team and the shipping process has begun, cancellation requests will not be entertained.
Same Day Delivery Orders
Orders placed under the Same Day Delivery category are non-cancellable.
Special Occasion & Promotional Products
Products procured or offered during special occasions such as Diwali, Pongal, Valentine’s Day, festive sales, or limited-time promotions are non-cancellable.
Perishable & Live Products
Cancellation is not accepted for perishable items, including but not limited to live plants, food items, or eatables.
However, refund or replacement may be considered if the customer proves that the product quality delivered was defective or substandard.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective product (including consumer durables or motorized items), please notify our Customer Care Team within 7 days of delivery.
For food products, issues must be reported within 5 days of receipt.
Product Not as Described
If the product received does not match the description or your expectations, you must report the issue within 24 hours of delivery. Our team will review the case and take an appropriate decision.
Manufacturer Warranty Products
For products covered under a manufacturer’s warranty, customers must contact the manufacturer directly for service, replacement, or repair.
Email us at customercare.animelplanet@gmail.com with the reason for return.
If approved, you will receive a Return Approval Confirmation within 4–5 working days.
Once approved, the product must be shipped back within 7 working days.
The Return Approval Code must be clearly mentioned on the return package.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Return shipping costs must be borne by the customer.
Products must be:
Properly packed to avoid transit damage
Returned with original packaging, tags, accessories, and paperwork
Returns not meeting these conditions may be rejected.
Return Eligibility Period
Claims for return or refund must be made within 21 days of receipt of goods, along with a copy of the invoice.
Product Condition
Returned products must be unused, unopened, and with original tags intact to be eligible for refund (shipping cost excluded).
No Notification = Waiver
Failure to notify Animel Planet within the specified period will result in the claim being deemed waived.
Expiry-Dated Products
Products that have crossed their expiry date are not eligible for return or refund.
Manufacturer Warranty Products
Returns or refunds for such items will be processed only if approved by the manufacturer.
Customer Error / Change of Mind
If a return is accepted due to customer error or change of mind:
A ₹350 restocking fee may be charged
Customer must bear all shipping costs
Exception applies if the product was shipped incorrectly or arrived faulty
Approved returns may be issued as:
Store Credit, or
30-day money-back refund, if eligible
Damaged goods returned due to customer mishandling or transit damage caused during return will be rejected.
